What is the payment process?

Due to having upfront payment obligations to our local partner, we have the following payment processing place:

• Deposit: Made at time of booking.

• 30% or full payment must be received by: November 15, 2022

• Full payment must be received by: February 15, 2023

We know some may need flexibility. Let’s discuss, if so!

What is the cancellation policy?

The fee charged to participate in the retreat can be paid in installments. Participant understands and agrees that after she/he has applied for and confirmed participation in the retreat, participant will make arrangements for the retreat based on Participant’s attendance (for example, booking lodging and not accepting other Program participants for the slot taken by Participant).  For this reason, in the event Participant cancels enrollment in the retreat after registration and confirming participation, all monies paid on or before the notice of cancellation shall be retained in order to offset its loss of business.  In order to pay in-country partners based on their requests and policies, all monies paid shall be retained if participant cancels participation prior to the retreat departure date. Thus, if Participant withdraws from the retreat within the approximate 60 day period immediately preceding the retreat departure date, no portion of the retreat fee will be returned. We reserve the right to cancel the trip if it is not meeting the trip minimum (if we do so, your funds are refunded in full). Trip cancellation insurance is always recommended whenever making travel plans. Should you have to cancel your attendance, you must advise us with written documentation and received a written confirmation for our team.

• Cancellation before November 15, 2022: Full refund less $500 deposit.

• Cancellation before January 15, 2023: 30% refund less $500 deposit.

• Cancellation between January 15, 2023 and retreat start date (May 28, 2023): Refund dependent on re-filling your cancelled booking less $500 deposit.

• Retreat In-Progress Termination:  Non-refundable. If a participant begins the retreat, but terminates their participation (either voluntary or is expelled) before the published end date, June 3, 2023, no refund or credit for any unused activities, excursions, meals or lodging will be reimbursed.

• Late arrival:  In the event that your arrival to or departure from the retreat is delayed for any reason (including, but not limited to: weather, mechanical difficulties, airline delays, political unrest, etc.), we cannot offer any refunds or compensation for any losses incurred. It is the responsibility of the traveler to obtain travel insurance if they so desire. Participant is responsible for all incurred transportation and airline fees associated with late arrival or early departure.
