Sacniete is a traditional Maya name meaning ‘white flower’ or plumeria.

Thank you for nominating yourself or another individual for our $500 Sacniete scholarship! All information regarding this application and the grant process in strictly confidential to the HORIZONS team. We have a total of five $500 scholarships for the February 19-25, 2022 retreat and we look forward to sharing these with you or someone else you have in mind.

We aim to provide this scholarship for those who have undergone significant challenges and could be in great need of this retreat, especially in light of the impacts of the pandemic.

Recipients will be asked to complete the HORIZONS retreat full registration process and pay the remainder of the retreat cost less the scholarship. Recipients will be in double accommodations.

The undersigned is applying for a $500 scholarship to fund a portion of participation in the HORIZONS 2020 retreat. If awarded the $500 scholarship, I agree to submit my personal $500 non refundable deposit and complete registration to confirm my participation in the retreat held February 19-25, 2022 at St. Georges Caye Resort in Belize by August 1, 2022. I understand that the scholarship will be applied to my total payment due.
